Think twice before filling up that bottle with milk before bed!  While health-conscious parents are sure to avoid sweets and junk food, many don't realize that giving kids milk or juice before bed can be just as  bad for teeth.

Milk is a great drink for kids during the day - it can help promote healthy teeth and bones.  However, before bedtime, the sugar in milk can be damaging to teeth.  Leaving sugary drinks on teeth without brushing them before bed can make their teeth prone to cavities.

If your child likes to drink out of their bottle or sippy cup before bedtime, give them water instead.
