Looking to cool off with a refreshing summer snack?  Here are a few treats that will keep kids cool (and healthy) on hot days!

Healthy Snacks:

  • Frozen Watermelon Slices - Rather than having kids snack on sugary ice pops and ice cream sandwiches, freeze some watermelon over night.  Watermelon is a quick and healthy way to cool off!  It can be a great option for teething toddlers too!  Just remember, watermelon does contain natural sugars - so kids should still brush their teeth after snacking.
  • Fruit Pizza - What kid doesn't love to snack on pizza?  This recipe for fruit pizza is a healthy way to snack without filling up.
  • Bananas and Peanut Butter - This is the perfect grab-and-go breakfast option for kids on the run.
