Garden City villages have started the Playground Program, which will continue on for the next two weeks. The idea is to get kids active with games and arts and crafts ran by park directors and staff!
Children
who live within the five villages participating and are in grades 1-8, are
welcome to experience the fun. While staff will be in attendance, they must not
be treated as a babysitting service.
The
Playground Program is also offering trips. The trips are the only part of the
program that requires registration and cost.
The playgrounds
are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to evening and Sunday from noon
to sundown.
